About Me

Art is my favorite thing in the world. To me, there’s nothing like spending a few hours drawing or painting and creating what I feel.

When people ask me how I started drawing, my answer is that I honestly don’t remember. It’s just something I’ve always done and something that came naturally to me. I do remember that my first “How to Draw” book was of The Powerpuff Girls when I was about five or six years old and that was my first real instruction that got me into drawing cartoons.

I’m mostly a self-taught artist. I started out by drawing my favorite cartoon characters and comics featuring them. I read a lot of art books and watched/read tutorials online where I learned how to draw with pencil, colored pencil, and charcoal. I was strictly into drawing until sometime around my mid-teens when I first got into watercolor and acrylic painting. I picked up oil painting sometime in my early 20s. Now I consider myself a versatile multimedia artist. Today I do all kinds of drawing and painting.

The subjects of my art include some of everything, but my favorites are people, nature landscapes, and animals. I create what I feel whether that’s relaxing beach scenes, animals surrounded by nature, or the dark woods underneath the moonlight. No matter what I create or what medium I use, the goal with my art is to bring viewers joy and hopefully make them feel something.
