Inktober 2025
I completed Inktober 2025! My entire art goal for this month was to make it to the end of Inktober and now that it’s done I feel like I can finally exhale. While difficult at times, it was still a lot of fun. I’m just happy that I made it to the end.
My Experience Trying Oil Pastels for the First Time
If you’re familiar with my art, you know that I like to do a lot of different things with it. I’m always switching between different mediums and I’m open to trying new styles, color patterns, and art materials. The most recent thing I’ve gotten into—oil pastels.
New Art Project: Colorful Colored Pencil Portraits
One thing I keep coming back to in my art is trying to find new and interesting ways to incorporate color into my paintings and drawings. I dabble in a lot of different mediums — pencil, paint, charcoal, colored pencil, watercolor, and more — and I’m always trying new things. I’ve come to the conclusion that what really fascinates me among all of it is a vibrant rainbow of colors.
My Art Setup and the Importance of Having a Dedicated Space to Create
I recently did some reorganizing of my art room at my house and realized what a benefit it is to have an actual, dedicated space to create art.
